Directions
The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), ACEC of Florida, the American Public Works Association (APWA), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) are inviting you to join us, May 7, for an Engineering & Public Works Roadshow stop at the San Jacinto College to celebrate the Anderson Ball Classroom building.
This event is the 19th Roadshow stop since the effort launched in 2022. By spotlighting the Anderson Ball Classroom and other projects, the Roadshow demonstrates the essential value of civil engineering to society, promotes infrastructure investment by our elected officials, and helps attract the next generation of engineers and public works professionals into the industry.
The Roadshow is the first time the designers and public operators of America's infrastructure have joined together to celebrate successful infrastructure investment across the nation. The Anderson Ball Classroom, designed by Walter P. Moore is the nation's largest mass timber instructional building. Its construction and the materials used demonstrate the engineering industry's commitment to using sustainable, low-carbon materials in the built environment.
