ShibataFenderTeam would like to invite you to learn more about design of marine fender systems including manufacturing and performance verification.

The presentation gives an overview of the complete design process of fender systems following a holistic approach. Starting with the berthing energy calculation process, Mr. Polte will provide details about how to select the right fender for individual projects. Following the fender selection is the application of correction factors in a case study. The design of the steel fender panel is an important topic and critical issues like load case etc. will be addressed, including the relevant accessories for a fender system. The presentation closes with facts how to manufacture a high-quality fender system, gives details on material and performance testing and shares installation, operation and maintenance advices.
