The FIFA World Cup Houston Host Committee and East Downtown Management District are partnering together to activate a clean up effort prior to opening of FIFA Fan Festival in East Downtown. We’re excited to kick off preparations for the FIFA Fan Festival —and we need your help to make it a success from the ground up! We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us in getting the East Downtown (EaDo) area ready for the biggest party in Houston!

Date: Saturday, May 30
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Shell Energy Stadium, 2200 Texas Avenue, Houston, TX
What You’ll Be Doing:
Volunteers will support efforts such as:
- Trash collection and disposal
- Removing graffiti
- Clearing high-traffic pedestrian areas of debris
- Assisting with light landscaping and beautification
- other tasks assigned on site
All supplies—including gloves, bags, safety vests, and tools—will be provided.
Additional Information
- This is an outdoor event and will take place rain or shine
- Roles involve physical labor and active movement throughout the shift
- Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older
- A T-Shirt will be provided on site
