What is MATHCOUNTS?
MATHCOUNTS is a national math competition for middle‑school students that helps build problem‑solving skills, confidence, teamwork, and a positive connection to mathematics.
Why volunteer?
Volunteers play an important role in helping the event run smoothly. The 2026 Houston competitions are projected to reach 550 students from 70 different schools, and proctors and graders are especially crucial to supporting a fair and well‑organized experience for all participants!
