Johnny Kim, P.E., CFM
Johnny Kim joined Halff Associates, Inc. in 2016. His work in hydrology and hydraulics includes urban drainage studies, riverine modeling, and flood mapping. He also reviews drainage models for public entities in the Greater Houston area. He leads a team of nine professionals in the Halff Houston office and has a passion for helping grow their careers. He is currently serving as the President Elect for the ASCE Houston Branch, and has served in the past as VP Administration, Treasurer, Treasurer-Elect, VP Communications, Secretary, Membership Chair, and Hospitality Co-Chair.
Johnny was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He received a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Outside of work, he serves as the youth pastor at his church. He and his wife have a one-year old son.
